April 23, 2007Spinefarm Records has announced an exciting and unlikely partnership between Swedish metallers MACHINAE SUPREMACY and The Royal Symphonic Philharmonic Orchestra.
"PLAY! A Video Game Symphony" is a ground-breaking world tour extravaganza, which sees classical music, video games and heavy metal collide to create an exciting musical experience. MACHINAE SUPREMACY will perform live at the prestigious Stockholm Concert Hall on June 2 under the guidance of London Symphony Orchestra conductor Arnie Roth.
Performed by full orchestra and choir, "PLAY! A Video Game Symphony" features award-winning music from a catalogue of blockbuster video game titles. Outstanding graphics on large screens above the orchestra accompany the scores, highlighting memorable moments from the video games.
